Youthwashing Online Summit!

Hello! 👋 We invite you to an interactive online summit focusing on the growing youthwashing challenges. It’s full of interesting discussions and unique workshops. Register today for free and take part in the debate while meeting other participants! SUMMIT OVERVIEW We're bringing together participants from all around the world to discuss the worrying youthwashing problem that is becoming more and more common. The summit will include a lecture, a panel discussion and a workshop, together offering an in-depth look at the topic. During the event, we'll present findings from our flagship report on youthwashing in Poland, one of the most comprehensive of it’s kind in Europe. The summit will also be a great networking opportunity, providing a chance to connect with international partners and possibly working together on future collaborations and projects. WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO DISCUSS YOUTHWASHING? Youthwashing is based on public figures, organisations or businesses exploiting unaware young people to improve their own image and by doing so they reinforce existing hierarchical structures. It impacts our lives hugely cause it creates a false beneficial image that youth voice is heard, while in reality it's often not. This allows for companies or public figures to make decisions without our voice being actually heard while still building a positive image, which creates a very dangerous precedent. This is becoming a major challenge for our generation, and by discussing and speaking openly about it, we can fight together against it. We believe that education and awareness is key in such cases. THE WORLD NEEDS TO BE OPEN FOR YOUTH VOICE, INITIATIVES, MOVEMENTS AND AMBITIONS. EVENT DETAILS Date & Time 🗓️ The online summit will be hosted on Saturday, 24th of October at 12:00 PM CEST via a virtual platform.
